Loft is not about launch alone. Learn how head speed, angle of attack and spin loft combine to define your ideal driver.
Most amateur golfers play a driver that is between one and two degrees too weak in loft for their delivery. Start with your angle of attack: if you deliver the club downward, you need more static loft and a lower spinning shaft profile. If you sweep upward, you can drop loft and gain roll-out.
Then look at the head's centre of gravity — a deeper, lower CG raises launch and MOI, which is what most golfers need. Finally, do not shortcut the shaft. A shaft that is too stiff kills your release and costs both speed and accuracy.
